At our main office in Bootle the Opportunities Shop provide a local resource centre where people can come for advice, support and information on a wide range of topics and services.

This office, as well as providing a useful resource, is a social and friendly environment where people can freely discuss their problems and with the support of staff and other members find new ways of tackling old problems. Through working together the Opportunities Shop hopes to help people to get themselves back into work and improve their situation.

We have a number of resources available to local people that include:-

• Internet Access

This is provided free to people in the local area and is available Monday to Friday between 9am to 4pm.  This provides valuable assistance in searching for jobs and employers, printing off resources and much, much more besides.

• Local Newspapers

Local newspapers are delivered on a weekly basis and provide a useful resource for locating jobs and employment opportunities.

• Other Services

The centres provide visitors with access to stationary; postage and use of a telephone to help with job search activities and help in resolving personal issues that may be hindering your job search activities.
